- Each owner will have $10 million fictitious dollars to buy themselves
a team of 8 NASCAR drivers. Drivers will be assigned a value by
Smotch.com based on their previous season statistics.
- Here's how we do it: As the 2005 winner, Tony Stewart will have
the highest value ($3 million) and each other driver following
him in the standings will be discounted 5% from the next highest
driver.
- Additionally, any rookies or drivers who collected fewer that
1000 points in the 2004 Cup Series will be valued at $300,000.
- To build your team, select 8 drivers while keeping the total
cost from exceeding $10 million.
- Each team must be unique. If your team is not unique, we will
deny your submit and ask you to change at least one driver.
- All teams must be submitted by February 19th, 2006 when the flag drops at Daytona.
- Note: In the future we'd love to give you the ability to set
the values of the drivers yourself. If you like us enough, we
will make that work for you.
$10 Mil Salary Cap Scoring
- When the season starts, you will collect all of the same points
as every one of your drivers.
- Your league administrator can determine how you are playing
– weekly, season or both.
- Smotch.com will be kind enough to lay out the weekly results
and the overall standings so you can always see how your team
is doing.
- The team with the most points at the end of the week or season
wins.
The Nextel Cup races do not impact scoring. All cup races will be
scored in the same manner as all other races.
