Little Whackers Options
- Pools can start anytime. When you create your Little Whackers Home Run Pool, simply pick a start date & a due date for player selection.
- Configure the number of brackets, number of players and reserves per bracket.
Little Whackers Rules (the following is based on default settings)
- Sluggers are divided into 4 groups based on 2006 Home Run projections. The groups are ordered from best to worst based on these projections.
- You (the player) pick 1 to 4 sluggers and reserves from each of these groups
to make up your team, selecting a total of 10 sluggers.
- Each team must be unique. If your team is not unique, we will
deny your submit and ask you to change at least one slugger.
- If a Slugger is added, his Home Runs will begin accumulating for your team on the Monday following his addition to your team.
- Each week you can choose to activate reserves from your bench. Activations will be effective each Monday.
- Ties are handled at the discrection of Pool Administrators and will not be resolved by Smotch.com.
Little Whackers Scoring
- When the season starts, you will collect 1 home run for each
home run that is hit by each of your selected Sluggers.
- The team with the most home runs at the end of the regular season
wins.
- Smotch.com will be kind enough to lay out the weekly results
and the overall standings so you can always see how your team
is doing. Your league may decide to have weekly winners as well
as for the season. Our scoring is set up so that you can see it
either way.
- Scores will be updated Weekly, through Sunday.
- The All-Star Game & MLB 2006 Playoffs do not count.
