Bakers Dozen Options

  • Pools can start anytime. Select the start date when you create your Bakers Dozen 13-Run Pool.
  • Configure the pool to pick single or multiple teams per player.
  • Configure the number of runs you want to play for.
  • A note from our staff: We call it 13-Run because that's what people play, but here at Smotch, "we write the Office Pools that make the whole world play".

Bakers Dozen Rules (based on default settings)

  • Team selections cannot change once the Pool has begun.
  • Please do not pick the same team(s) as others in your league. You can try if you want, but we'll stop you.
  • There is a limit of 30 players per league. This is because there are only 30 teams in Major League Baseball.
  • Ties are handled at the discrection of Pool Administrators and will not be resolved by Smotch.com.

Bakers Dozen Scoring

  • Smotch.com will track the total runs scored each time your Team plays.
  • Pool standings will be updated daily.
  • Each time your Team scores any number of total runs from 0 to 13, the Standings will be updated with a to indicate you have scored that number of runs.
  • The team that closes all of the numbers from 0 to 13 total runs first wins!
  • The All-Star Game & MLB 2006 Playoffs do not count.
